Department of Family and Community Medicine Needs Our Help

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is asking for our help. They need people (not just social workers) to answer calls for 1 hour a week to be an empathetic ear for people in the community who are concerned about either testing positive for COVID or worried about getting COVID. You will not be giving any medical advice. You are just there to listen to them and share information that the Department of Family and Community Medicine will share with us. The calls will be forwarded to you so you can offer this service from your home until they no longer need support.

Please click on the link below and choose the slot you are willing to cover. You can sign up for 1 hour a week and then I will send you an appointment invite weekly for that same day and time until they no longer need us. Please only choose one slot. There will be a 30 minute orientation that we can do on webex to give you information about COVID, resources, and what they are hoping we can do. We hope to start on April 27th. Please respond by Wednesday 4/22 at 4pm.
