SSW's Elizabeth Manley to Assist Oregon with Implementation of System of Care Principles

The School of Social Work has received almost $50,000 to help provide technical assistance to the state of Oregon specific to the implementation of the Governor’s Children’s System of Care Council and assist the state build best practices within their Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities.

Led by Elizabeth Manley, Clinical Instructor for Health and Behavioral Health Policy at the Institute for Innovation and Implementation, the project will focus the state of Oregon on implementing system of care principles, enhancing their serviced array and build best practices for youth with complex behavioral health needs. The focus of the project is to build internal capacity within the state to transform the children’s behavioral health delivery system.
