Students played an important role in UMB’s development of the Intercultural Leadership and Engagement Center, which emerged as a result of the multicultural center taskforce. Students participated on the taskforce and a Social Work student co-chaired the group with the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs. The co-chairs also met with multiple groups of students within each School and across campus. The search and screen committee contains a staff/faculty representative from each School and a student representative from Social Work. The interviews will occur on April 17, 22, and 14.
