PhD Student Rachel Imboden Published in the Journal of Social Work Values and Ethics

PhD Student Rachel Imboden has a new paper published in the Journal of Social Work Values and Ethics that explores the relationship between ethics stress and burnout among a sample of social workers from one mid-Atlantic state.

Ethics stress, or the stress associated with managing ethical challenges in practice, was found to be a unique predictor of burnout. Results support the theory that ethics stress may operate as a form of role stress and the implications for social work education and practice are discussed.
