Attention all returning SSW students, SGA is seeking student leaders to serve on the Executive Board for the 2020/2021 academic school year. The vacant positions include: President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, & Treasurer. Detailed description and duties for each position can be found on page 3 of the SGA Constitution located at

Students hoping to run for a position on the 2020/2021 Executive Board should apply for candidacy at by Friday, April 3rd.

Timeline for the election process is as follows:
March 25th- April 3rd: 2020/2021 SGA Executive Board positions open; application deadline April 3rd.
April 10th: Eligible candidates notified
April 13th- April 24th: Candidates must submit a 3-5 minute campaign video; if unable to include a video submission as part of your campaign, please reach out to SGA at for assistance. Deadline for video submissions is April 24th.
April 27th- May 1st: Student body will have opportunity to review video submissions and vote on preferred candidate. Voting will close on May 1st.
May 2nd: Candidates notified of election results
May 4th: Induction of new 2020/2021 Executive Board during a virtual SGA General Body Meeting via WebEx.
