The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation in Baltimore is seeking a full-time summer intern. Candidates should be college graduates with a degree related to fields such as social work, public policy, public health, urban studies, nonprofit management, education, law, and gerontology.
The internship will provide a constructive work experience with a large private Foundation. The intern will have the opportunity to explore the field of philanthropy within a dynamic setting. In doing so, the intern will be expected to analyze and synthesize information and create reports for review and decision making at the Foundation. This internship will expose the individual to many focus areas of the Foundation, including the Baltimore Summer Funding Collaborative. The individual should have a strong interest in best practice research and program evaluation. Specific projects will depend on the needs of Foundation staff and will be discussed during the interview process.
