Clinicians generally find individuals with personality disorders to be challenging to treat, especially compared to clients who have only a straightforward depression or anxiety disorder. Judith S. Beck, PhD, will discuss the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Personality Disorders and how it can assist clients in changing their thinking at both an intellectual and an emotional level to bring about enduring changes in cognition, mood, behavior, and general functioning.
Dr. Beck is the President of the Beck Institute, a Clinical Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, and is the daughter of world-renowned Psychiatrist, Dr. Aaron Beck.
