Foundation year student Onyinye Alheri and collaborator Jura Augustinavicius (PhD) have been selected as recipients of one of this year’s Faculty–Community Research Project Small Grant Awards from Johns Hopkins University's Urban Health Institute. Alheri and Augustinavicius will serve as Principal Investigators, overseeing a project analyzing the intersections of climate activism and mental health in Baltimore City. Over the course of a year, they will conduct research to determine the mental health conditions of activists and those directly impacted by climate change and other environmental injustices in Baltimore City.
