Associate Professors Haksoon Ahn, Principal Investigator, and Terry Shaw, Co-Principal Investigator, received a 5-year extension of ongoing Child Welfare Accountability (CWAA) research project from Maryland Department of Human Services/Social Service Administration (SSA). This 5-year grant will evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of child welfare services throughout Maryland to help to guide state policy and practice, and improve outcomes for children and families.
Dr. Haksoon Ahn manages the contract with SSA and leads the Continuous Quality Improvement/Child and Family Services Review and Integrated Practice Model Evaluation components of the project, and Dr. Terry Shaw leads the Child Welfare Information System performance indicators aspects of the project.
