Dr. Kim and Dr. Dababnah Publish New Article

November 4, 2019

Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Irang Kim (shown here), Assistant Professor Dr. Sarah Dababnah, and a colleague at Jackson State University published a new article in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders. The article explored the relationship between family resilience and parenting stress among caregivers of children with autism. The researchers found racial differences in the relationship between stress and family resilience. Family resilience is an understudied, but potentially powerful factor, that can buffer the effects of parenting stress.
