Assistant Professor John Cagle has been named to the e American Psychology Association's
Guideline Development Panel (GDP) for the Treatment of Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain in Adults.
As a panel member, Cagle and others will be (1) reviewing existing relevant guidelines and systematic reviews; (2) determining, with appropriate collaboration with other researchers and clinicians, the scope and questions for any required new systematic reviews; (3) consulting with the organizations conducting any new systematic reviews; and (4) writing clinical practice guideline recommendations on the basis of such reviews and resources.
