Apply for global summer programs! Here is some information for students from the UMB Center for Global Education Initiatives: 1. Our interprofessional global grants are for all UMB students – including social work students. 2. They are short term (10 days to a month) so students can get other jobs over the summer. 3. WE PAY STUDENT AIRFARE which is the most expensive part of the experience. Project descriptions include the costs students will have to pay themselves. 4. Students can meet the faculty project leaders at a meet and greet on Friday 10/25 at noon on the first floor of the campus center. The students don’t have to attend to apply. 6. Applications are available here and due on November 15. 7. This is a great experience for any future professional and a great resume boost. Check out past projects here. 8.
