Dr. Jodi Frey, in collaboration with Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas and Ms. Maggie Mortalli, presented at the 2019 Employee Assistance Professionals Association on the forthcoming national guidelines for workplace suicide prevention.
The guidelines were based on research and best practices and will play a critical role in helping work and professional organizational leaders take the lead in helping to reduce the overall death by suicide rate in the U.S. Guidelines will be officially released on October 10, 2019 in conjunction with World Mental Health Day which will focus on Suicide prevention this year.
