Advanced Care Planning IPE Opportunity

Advanced Care Planning IPE Opportunity Advanced year MSW students with interests in health and behavioral health are invited to join an interprofessional education project focusing on advance care planning and end-of-life communication. The curriculum will be delivered via three in-person curriculum modules across a series of Fridays at the University of Maryland Medical Center campus: 10/11, 11/8, and 12/6. The 3 lunchtime sessions (food provided) will occur from 12PM-2PM. Session Topics and Experiences will include: - advance care planning, death and dying in the hospital, and communication at the end of life - 1 afternoon clinic session, either in the simulation lab or at a designated clinical site. These clinic sessions will be flexible to to accommodate your schedules.
