Geriatric Assessment Interdisciplinary Team (GAIT) Training

The Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center (ESAHEC) has released the Fall 2019 schedule of Geriatric Assessment Interdisciplinary Team (GAIT) Training. GAIT emphasizes the value of an interdisciplinary team approach to the assessment and treatment of geriatric patients. Through this educational experience, students have the opportunity to equip themselves with knowledge and skills relating to geriatric assessment; to share some of these insights with other students and faculty upon returning to their respective universities; and to apply what they learned in the GAIT rotations to their own clinical practices. GAITs are FREE. Overnight lodging, if requested, and a mileage stipend are provided.
