During the week of July 15, at Lakeland Elementary and Middle School we will be facilitating a group for middle school girls that are Latinx, focusing on healthy coping strategies. Activity ideas include yoga, meditation, zumba, making Guatemalan worry dolls, drawing, music, and spending time with therapy animals. We are actively seeking Latinx women to help facilitate conversation or practice a specific coping strategy with the girls. Please contact magee.morales@umaryland.edu of you are interested in helping. A $50 stipend will be provided for facilitation.
