The Living Classrooms Foundation is looking for a Youth Specialist for their Baltimore Environmental Education Summer Math And Reading Trailblazers (BEE SMART) program. The program uses STEM-based curriculum as a vehicle to improve the overall literacy of program participants (2nd – rising 5th grade students) from two Title I Baltimore City Public Schools. The Youth Specialist will be responsible for counseling services to individual students as needs arise such as behavior challenges, personal/home life issues, etc. The program’s low staff-to-student ratio aims to serve the “whole child” and a Youth Specialist will enable the program to deliver important socio-emotional supports to students that need it the most. See flyer for more information on how to apply.
