What is Title VII? What are Reporting Opportunities, the Investigative Processes, and the Compliance Requirements?

Join other SSW students as UMB's Roger Ward, EdD, JD, MPA, holds a question and answer session on the processes and procedures of Title VII and address questions that students often ask. Ward is Senior Vice President for Operations and Institutional Effectiveness and Vice Dean of the Graduate School at UMB.

This important event takes place at the SSW on Friday, May 3 from Noon to 2 PM in Rooms 3E14 A&B.


Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is a federal law that prohibits employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, and religion. It generally applies to employers with 15 or more employees, including federal, state, and local governments.
