Screening of Ava Duvernay's Documentary "13th"

Join the Anti-Oppression Work Group for a screening of "13th," a documentary by Ava Duvernay. In this film, scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the prison industrial complex. 

A discussion of the documentary's themes, as well as ways in which UMB students can bring awareness to these issues, will be facilitated following the film.
