ATTENTION GRADUATE STUDENTS! You are invited to a four part student-led speaker series sponsored by Engaging in Current Events as Criminologists (ECEC) on community reentry for persons who were formerly incarcerated. The first session is Understanding the Problem: Experiences of Formerly Incarcerated Individuals featuring Lisbeth Delcid, Together We Bake (Alexandria, VA) and John A. Pace, Youth Sentencing and Reentry Project (Philadelphia, PA). Panelists will be discussing their first-hand experiences with incarceration and reentry, as well as the experiences of those with whom they now work, to shed light on the barriers faced by those who were formerly incarcerated. Event date is Thursday, February 21st, 6:30-8:00 p.m, and will occur in 1101 Morrill Hall, University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
