We are Assistant Professors at the University of Washington Tacoma and are interested in learning more about the educational experiences of social work students with disabilities, their experiences with disability services specifically, and with resources in general. We hope to use the findings to improve services and educational outcomes for students with disabilities in social work programs.
Students in all social work degree programs are eligible to participate. Participation in the survey is anonymous.
Our forthcoming manuscript discussing theoretical frameworks for evaluating inclusive practices in social work programs has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Social Work Education and serves as theoretical foundation for this study. The current study also received IRB approval from the University of Washington Human Subjects Review Board (ID#STUDY00006178).
