The Diverse SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) Forum is a new group for UMB faculty and staff who identify as LGBTQ+. The group aims to bridge together work that is currently being done in the LGBTQ+ community across the seven UMB schools, and to provide opportunities for faculty and staff with diverse SOGIE to come together and advocate for the needs of the community across campus.
The Diverse SOGIE Forum is holding an initial informational and social meeting at The Yard Restaurant (110 South Eutaw Street) on Tuesday, February 12th from 5:00-6:30pm. RSVP to Lyndsay Smith at lyndsaysmith@ssw.umaryland.edu.
