Geriatric Assessment Interdisciplinary Team (GAIT) Training

The Eastern Shore Area Health Education Center (ESAHEC) is happy to announce a GAIT Training has been scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2019 from 8am-5pm at Heron Point in Chestertown, MD. The training will focus on how "function and independence= quality of life" in a retirement community. GAIT Training provides the opportunity to: * Learn about the challenges/rewards of working w/geriatrics * Practice Geriatric patient assessment * Develop sensitivity awareness to the aging process * Gain exposure to rural health care * Increase skill set in effective interdisciplinary care If interested in attending, complete and submit the attached registration form by February 27, 2019.
