Interested in a Macro Field Placement that Specializes in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Policy a

Macro students: Are you interested in a field placement with a federal agency that specializes in mental health and substance abuse policy and service delivery, including issues related to topics such as children & families, evidence-based practices, medication assisted treatment and the Opioid Crisis? The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is planning to host up to 4 advanced year macro field placements for academic year 2019-2020. Placements with SAMHSA offer a unique opportunity to get experience inside the Federal Government, with opportunities to work in various divisions and on a variety of issues that affect children, adolescents and adults. Students will be integrated as a part of the team at SAMHSA working on exciting initiatives and networking with various stakeholders and agencies.
