Come to the Oncology Social Work lunch in 2W11 on Dec 10 at 12:15 – 1:45 pm, to hear from social workers in different types of Oncology Social Work (OSW) practice.
Oncology social work is social work with or on behalf of people with cancer, and their families. It can involve working with people from children to older adults, and can take place in settings such as cancer centers, hospitals, community support programs, or in the home. This is also an opportunity to meet others interested in OSW and to learn about field placements, scholarships and employment opportunities in this exciting field. Lunch will be provided. Questions? Contact Prof. Julianne Oktay (firstname.lastname@example.org).
