At 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 8th, members of the USG community will convene in the Garden of Unity and Peace (between Building I and Building II) for the USG Gathering for Unity.
At the gathering there will be a short program (15-20 minutes) both to acknowledge recent tragedies and hate-filled behaviors, and to promote and reinforce USG’s mission of unity and tolerance.
Speakers will include Dr. Stewart Edelstein, USG Executive Director, Dr. Jonathan Kandell, Director of the campus’ Center for Counseling and Consultation, and Jonell Malone, President of the USG Student Council.
In the event of rain, the program will be held in the Conference Center MPR.
