The Positive Schools Center's Director, Shantay McKinily, is presenting "Racially Equitable Communities: Combating the School-to-Prison Pipeline with Restorative Practices" on October 31.
The presentation will discuss the Center's work in Baltimore City's schools, through focusing on the five integrated components of trauma responsive educational practices; restorative and healing approaches; racial justice and equity; social, emotional, and character development; and student, family and community voice.
The annual conference is being held this year at Morgan State University.
