Dr. Sarah Dababnah, top left, Dr. Wendy Shaia, top right, MSW graduate Karen Campion, and PhD graduate Helen Nichols have a new article published in a special issue of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The article, "We Had to Keep Pushing:" Caregivers’ Perspectives on Autism Screening and Referral Practices of Black Children in Primary Care" describes a study conducted in Baltimore which explored barriers and facilitators to timely autism screening and referrals in primary care. www.aaiddjournals.org/doi/10.1352/1934-9556-56.5.321
