CURE Program hiring work-study student!

The UMB CURE Program is hiring a work-study student to help with administrative duties in the office. The pay is $15 per hour. The UMB CURE Scholars Program is a groundbreaking year-round pipeline program that identified sixth-graders with an interest in science from three West Baltimore middle schools and supports these scholars throughout middle school, high school, and beyond. The goal of the CURE Scholars Program is to increase the number of underrepresented minority students in careers in STEM, health care, and cancer research. The federal work-student student would assist in administrative duties within the office, including entering data necessary to measure scholars' success. Our team is flexible and happy to accommodate busy student schedules. We are looking for someone who is able to work a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week, preferable on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and/or on Saturdays. Come be part of a fun team and help make a difference in the lives of our scholars and in the West Baltimore community! If interested, please email Emily Blatter, UMB MSW '18, at emily.blatter@umaryland.edu. Please send a copy of your resumé and a brief explanation of why you are interested in the position.
