GAIT: Geriatric Assessment Interdisciplinary Team is an interdisciplinary training opportunity for health professional, social work and law students from universities and schools throughout the University System of Maryland. The GAIT program provides both clinical (team experience with clients/patients/residents) and didactic training.
Students will work collaboratively with students from other disciplines in geriatric practice. The program has proved to be very valuable in assisting students in learning about the value of team practice and geriatric care.

Overnight accommodations available at the Sleep Inn in Salisbury for Monday night if requested. Continental Breakfast & Lunch will be provided at the facility.
No Charge for students to participate in GAIT projects. Optional hotel, meals, project materials, and travel stipend are provided.
