SSW Alum Jessica Herriot Reads From Her New Book "Riding the Second Wave" at the Village L

UMB SSW alum Jessica Herriot (PhD 1992) will read sections from her recently published book, Riding the Second Wave: How Feminism Changed Women’s Psychology and Mine her memoir about her experiences as a second-wave feminist and therapist. The reading takes place at the Village Learning Place in Baltimore, from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, July 19th.

Dr. Herriot received her doctorate and was adjunct professor at the School of Social work where she designed and taught a course about social work practice with women and was a co-founder of the Women’s Growth Center (a feminist counseling collective) in Baltimore.
