Webinar for Academics and Scholars to Coordinate Advocacy Efforts in Response to Family Separation/F

Hosted by the Center on Child Immigration and Child Welfare

(Thursday June 28th at 10amPST/11amMST/12pmCST/1pmEST)

Due to the overwhelming response from child welfare, child development, and social work scholars around the country condemning government practices that are incarcerating children and families at the U.S./Mexico border, we are organizing a phone briefing next Thursday, June 28th at 10amPST/11amMST/12pmCST/1pmEST. Please join the Center on Immigration and Child Welfare and our guest Emily Butera from the Women’s Refugee Commission, the organization leading crucial advocacy efforts in this area. The purpose of the briefing is to: 1) provide up to date information on the rapidly shifting policies and practices at the border; 2) discuss where our advocacy efforts should be focused now; and 3) how we can use our collective power to make an impact. If you are unable to join the call, sign up for newsletter mailing list at cimmcw.org, and we will send out notes and materials.
