Dr. Reisch leads panel on voter engagement at NASW national conference

On Wednesday, June 20, Dr. Michael Reisch, Daniel Thursz Distinguished Professor of Social Justice, was a moderator and speaker at a pre-conference teach-in on "Voter Engagement" at the NASW national conference in Washington, DC.

Speakers included Tanya Rhodes Smith, Director of the National Humphrey Institute for Political Social Work at the University of Connecticut, Shaneice Simmons, Associate Director for Civic Engagement of Rock the Vote, Sheryl Aguilar, a practitioner and advocate for immigrant rights, and Angelo McClain, NASW's CEO.
