Please join NASW for a Congressional Briefing that will highlight the many ways that social workers are involved in responding to the opioid crisis, and will identify effective education, professional development, technical assistance, capacity building and research strategies that target strengthening workforce capacity and service delivery outcomes. Service delivery and training gaps will be identified and recommendations will be made to ensure that there is capacity and competence to address the opioid crisis.
