You Can Improve Quality of Life for Those Impacted by Serious Illness
UMB's 30-credit interprofessional Master of Science in Palliative Care is completely online and can be completed in five semesters or at your own pace. In addition to the Masters of Science, the University of Maryland Graduate School has five Graduate Certificates that focus in Palliative Care including Clinical Aspects of Hospice and Palliative Care, Leadership and Administration on Hospice and Palliative Care, Psychosocial/Spiritual Aspects of Hospice and Palliative Care, and Aging and Applied Thanatology.
These programs have been designed to meet the educational needs of individuals who are currently working or who wish to work in hospice and palliative care and want to gain a deeper understanding of the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of patients and families affected by serious illness.
