These scholarships are for continuing students (going into a second year or the advanced curriculum in the fall 2018 semester) who have completed at least 12 credits at the School. Bou Family International Scholarship A scholarship of up to $5,000 is available to a second-year student with an interest in international affairs/service. Friedman Scholarship for Juvenile Justice or Criminal Justice A $2,000 scholarship will be to a students who plan to pursue careers in juvenile justice or criminal justice. Harris Scholarship for the Prevention of Intimate Partner Violence A $3,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student with an abiding interest in the prevention of intimate partner violence through the practice of social work. Lee Award for Innovative Practice by a Social Work Student A $2,000 award will be given to a student who has carried out a successful piece of innovative practice at their field instruction site with an organization, community, or on behalf of individuals. Julie and Erol Oktay Scholarship for Oncology Social Work A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student with a commitment to the field of oncology social work.
