Spring 2018 Daniel Thursz Lecture on Social Justice Celebrates 25 Years of SWCOS!

The event is being held April 19 at The Winslow at Parker Metal (333 West Ostend St., Baltimore, MD 21230). Doors open at 5:30pm. Dress is business casual and dinner is included in the ticket price. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by a panel entitled "Community Power: Moving from Service to Justice." We will close with a dinner reception in the main room where guests are invited to view displays on the impact of SWCOS programs and engage with graduate students on their work in the community. Funds raised from the 25th anniversary celebration will go to support the new Community Investment Fund: Promoting Transformation through Empowerment at SWCOS. This Fund will support local community-led initiatives, student stipends and faculty field instruction in communities where SWCOS is working. The vision of SWCOS is that all communities will be equitable and promote well-being, self-determination, and individual and collective power.
