Submit your video to be considered for the 2018 Student Convocation Speaker! If you are interested, please submit a 5 minute video file of you delivering your speech to dshafer@ssw.umaryland.edu by April 2nd at 11:59pm. The topic for the speech follows the NASW theme for 2018: Social Workers. Leaders. Advocates. Champions (www.socialworkers.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=i_Y2WMoyuJA%3D&portalid=0) The way you approach the topic is totally your own. You can either record your speech on your own OR you can arrange a time with the SSW media center to record there. Please note that you will need to provide enough advanced notice to make these arrangements and submit by the April 2nd deadline. Your speech will be shown at the final student convocation planning committee meeting; student committee members decide who is chosen for this honor.
