Next Motivational Interviewing Learning Community Meeting Monday 03/12 12:30-1:30pm in SSW 2E14

March 7, 2018

Interested in learning more about Motivational Interviewing? Join us for an informal learning community where we will review concepts and share ideas, experience, and research related to MI.

MI is a goal-oriented, client-centered counseling style for eliciting behavior change by helping people to explore and resolve ambivalence, and help elicit their intrinsic motivation for change. The style and skills of MI are helpful across a variety of social work speciality fields as well as a host of other disciplines such as medicine, teaching, parenting, coaching and supervision to name a few.

All are welcome: this group is open to people with experience already, as well as those new to MI!

We will meet in Room 2E14 on Monday, March 12 from 12:30-1:30pm and every other Monday through the semester in the same location. You can contact Camilla at cpearson@umaryland.edu or Professor Chris Wirt at cwirt@ssw.umaryland.edu with any questions!

We look forward to seeing you there!
