Chesapeake Life Center is recruiting volunteers interested in being a part of Camp Nabi & Phoenix Rising, our children’s & teens bereavement camp, now in its 27th year. Volunteer roles range from companioning a child for the entire weekend (August 10-12) to offering your assistance for just Friday or Saturday in a variety of needed areas. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. The time commitment is Friday, August 10th at 4 pm through Sunday, August 12th around 3 pm. In addition, there is training required before camp through Hospice of the Chesapeake as well as camp specific training.
