
Associate Professor Dr. Nalini Negi was selected to share the most important ideas facing social work research and practice at the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) annual conference in Washington DC. The Brief and Brilliant session selects leading social work scholars to engage the audience through TEDx-style talks using images, story-telling and media. Dr. Negi talked about her research with Latino immigrant day laborers and the important role of social workers in advocating for socially just immigration policies.
