Spring IPE Opportunity

Interprofessional Education (IPE) opportunity for interested students at the Holy Cross clinics in Gaithersburg and Germantown. This is a chance to work as a team with advanced nursing and pharmacy students in an outpatient clinic, evaluating and supporting patients who are diagnosed with diabetes. There will be two rotations this Spring - one from 1/30 to 3/6 and the other from 3/13 to 4/24. Clinics will be on Tuesdays from 1-5. During each rotation, students will attend three clinics on alternate weeks. Orientation will be on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 12:30 on the first day of each of the rotations. I will provide a complete schedule to those who are interested in participating. If you are in field on Tuesdays, you may be able to get permission from your instructor to have the IPE count as field time, or make up the time. Even if you are not in field on Tuesdays, you may be able to get permission to count those hours toward field (a total of 16 for the program).
