Lee, Kobulsky & Barth Published in Children & Youth Services Review

Associate Professor Bethany Lee, Post-Doctoral Fellow Julia Kobulsky, and Dean Rick Barth (along with external colleague David Brodzinsky) have a new paper published in Children & Youth Services Review that explores adoptive parent preparation. Using data from the Modern Adoptive Families study, Lee, Kobulsky, Brodzinsky & Barth (2017) found that adopting a child with emotional and behavior problems was associated with lower levels of satisfaction with preparation. Adoptive parents also described what factors of adoption preparation were helpful and what gaps exist.More details can be found at; www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0190740917309052 Lee, B.
