As the State of Maryland's only public academic health and law center, one way of easily engaging our campus community in the lives of youth is by exposing local youth to careers in healthcare, law and human service. To this end, the UMB Office of Community Engagement is creating a k-12 Career Speakers Bureau.
If interested joining the Speakers Bureau, please contact Brian Sturdivant, Director for Strategic Initiatives and Community Partnerships at bsturdivant@umaryland.edu or 410-706-1678 and the Office of Community Engagement will list your name and speaker topic on a list that we publicize to partner schools regularly.
