Description: This workshop will include a panel presentation by members from each of the three jurisdictions regarding licensing regulations, followed by a question/answer session. Participants will receive an outline summarizing the regulations. This workshop will provide information for students, recent graduates, licensing by endorsement, and for social workers who have relocated to the DC Metropolitan area.
CEU Credits: 2 Category ll
Objectives:
1. Identify the purpose of licensing and different levels for social work in each state.
2. Learn the essential regulations pertaining to each state.
3. Recognize the differences between states regarding regulations.
4. Identify resources for assistance regarding social work Licensing.
