Promise Heights' B'more for Healthy Babies program helps the US Navy and Marine Corp launch


Stacey Stephens, LCSW-C Clinical Instructor and Program Director of B'more for Healthy Babies Upton/Druid Heights, UMSSW Promise Heights, along with Dr. Shelly Choo, Senior Medical Advisor of Bureau of Maternal and Child Health at the Baltimore City Health Department presented two webinars “B’more for Healthy Babies SLEEP Safe Campaign” for the US Navy and Marine Corp located nationally and internationally for the launching of each divisions’ Safe Sleep Campaign.

Mrs. Stephens and Dr. Choo described B’more for Healthy Babies SLEEP Safe Campaign over the past eight years and gave illustrations of community engagement efforts that have resulted in a decrease of the infant mortality rates and sleep related death rates at the community and city level.
