The President’s Panel on Policy & Politics, featuring Derreck Kayongo, a Top Ten CNN Hero in 2011, CEO, Center for Civil and Human Rights, and Founder, Global Soap Project, which takes donated melted, purified and reprocessed hotel soap and redistributes it to vulnerable populations around the world.
From Ugandan refugee to successful entrepreneur and renowned human rights activist, Derreck inspires audiences to dream big as he shares his vision for harnessing the power of observation to identify issues and solve challenges in any community or organization. His talk will focus on creating change and will touch on immigration.
We have only 125 people registered. There are quite a few students and staff registered, but very few in leadership have RSVPd. I would very much appreciate your making sure that at least 5 people from each of your organizations register and attend. We also look forward to your participation in this important discussion, and we will have two tables reserved for leadership at the front of the room.
