DACA and Beyond: The Impact of Restrictive Immigration Policies --What Can You Do? Panelists will discuss the implications of the rescinding of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the increased criminalization of immigration, and the importance of advocacy and community organizing in ensuring the well-being of immigrant families. These UMB-Hopkins speaker series are focused on the recent policy changes in the DACA program, and the legal, social, and health implications for DACA recipients and the immigrant community at-large. A panel will be held at each university in efforts to collaboratively engage in discussions and work together to best address the health and well-being of our immigrant community. 1.5 CEUs are available for $20.
