Miller & Harburger testify in front of Maryland General Assembly's Joint Committee on Ending


Amanda Miller, MSW '16, Senior Program Specialist at School's Institute for Innovation & Implementation, testified in front of the Joint Committee on Ending Homelessness in Annapolis on September 13, 2017 alongside the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Human Services. Ms. Miller shared preliminary findings from the Spring 2017 Youth REACH MD Youth Count of unaccompanied youth and young adults experiencing homelessness that took place in 17 Maryland jurisdictions. Deborah Harburger, MSW '04, Clinical Instructor & Co-Director of the Maryland Center at The Institute for Innovation & Implementation, testified in front of the Joint Committee on Ending Homelessness in Annapolis on October 11, 2017 alongside the Maryland Department of Human Services. She provided information on services and supports for youth aging out of foster care, including a spotlight on The Institute's Children's Bureau-funded Youth At-Risk of Homelessness Implementation Grant, Thrive@25, on the Mid-Shore and on Youth REACH MD.
