DACA: At the Crossroads of Advocacy, Equity, and Health @ Johns Hopkins University on October 6


On Friday, October 6 from 12:00pm -1:30pm Johns Hopkins University is hosting a panel discussion entitled "DACA: At the Crossroads of Advocacy, Equity, and Health." The panel will discuss the history of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and how it impacts Baltimore, immigration and human rights, and the impact that immigration status has on health. We hope you can join! This is part of a speaker series in collaboration with the University of Maryland, Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University. The series will focus on the recent policy changes in the DACA program, and the legal, social, and health implications for DACA recipients and the immigrant community at-large. A panel will be held at each university in efforts to collaboratively engage in discussions and work together to best address the health and well-being of our immigrant community.
